As we
all know it takes two to make a baby and the offspring takes traits from
both Dad & Mom but this is what we typically see from the offspring sired
by A Good Machine.
*
GREAT MINDS!!!!
*
NICE SIZE (They
are typically larger than the mares they are bred to)
*DEEP,
DEEP hocks at the lope
* VERSATILITY
(They generally start out in Western Pleasure or Hunter Under Saddle & as they
age they acquire more events such as trail, western riding, showmanship,
horsemanship and performance halter--making & keeping them popular and very
saleable)
* Good
Cadenced, Tight, Tiny Jogs
(If you breed a
mare that is a little long strided at the jog, he will typically shorten the
stride)
*Pretty
with a lot of bone
(without being coarse)
WARNING: If you've got a mare with a lot of knee (meaning she
about knocks her front teeth out when she lopes), he doesn't normally fix
this--he can help, but it's hard for ANY stallion to fix.
A Good Machine himself is flat up front, but if a mare looks likes she's
riding a bike when she lopes,
you might not want to breed her.
DON'T
TAKE OUR WORD ON IT---ASK THE TRAINERS & BREEDERS!!!
Our best endorsers of the AGM offspring are the trainers
and past breeders of the AGM babies.
If you want to know about the AGM's and don't know who to ask---try this:
Open your Quarter Horse Journal or you Paint Horse Journal and place your finger
on any page---if that page is an ad for a Western Pleasure or English trainer,
pick up the phone and give them a call and ask their opinion of what kind
of traits A Good Machine passes on and how they personally like riding
them............YES! We are THAT confident of what they'll say!!!!
