NOW
CONTACT JOHN DEAN AT 903-815-1113

SO YOU WANT TO BE A HORSE TRAINER......

We also have internships available on a limited basis.

If you want to get a start in the horse business,  where better to get your education than by becoming an assistant with a World Champion trainer--you get your housing paid, your utilities are paid and you get paid while you learn and polish your skills (no tuition, no books or dormitory expenses).

We employ two assistant horse trainers at all times.  This position is a terrific educational opportunity.  The ideal assistant will  1) Be currently employed as a trainer  OR  2) Have prior experience showing as a youth or amateur in AQHA, APHA or ApHC shows;  3)
Be 18 (preferably 21 years) of age or older;  4) Be willing to learn all aspects of training and showing in western pleasure, western riding, and trail.  Duties of the assistants include total care of all training horses including  but not limited to riding, starting colts, feeding & watering, giving medications, grooming, lunging, clipping and mane banding.  The assistants help break the young colts, ride older horses, assist at shows, etc.   The amount of riding and showing depends upon the amount of experience the assistant has.

A furnished two bedroom duplex located on the ranch is shared by the assistant trainers and all utilities as well as local phone service is provided plus a competitive salary to start.   Interested?      Contact us today!!

Our program is SIMPLE.   We don't have brochures that go into more detail about our program.  Read the information above and decide if you have a lot of desire to become a horse trainer, are willing to work hard and you would be interested in learning under the guidance of John, please email us information about your experience with horses to John & Kim Dean or a fax your resume to 903-429-6898 or call John at 903-815-1113.
